Who is Brown & Brown and why did you merge?
Brown & Brown (NYSE: BRO) is the world's 7th largest insurance intermediary. Founded in 1939 as a local agency, Brown & Brown continues to grow and serve customers with the same commitment to providing quality insurance products and services with the highest integrity. Insure My Food Truck decided to merge with Brown & Brown because we were at capacity with staff and number of accounts. By merging with a company with vast resources, we can focus on what we do best, provide excellent products and services to our clients and grow. Growing our gourmet food truck program will allow us to negotiate the best coverage and price availalbe through our preferred insurance carriers.
Will we be working with the same people?
Yes! We are thrilled to bring our entire commerical lines team for this transition. Denny Christner, founder of Insure My Food Truck, will still be an account executive and program director working on your behalf.
How can we reach you?
It's business as usual for the time being. Our office will relocate to the Brown & Brown office at 3697 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA 94549 as of 4/1/2016. Hanover Insurance is still our primary program carrier and will continue to assist most of our clients for certificates and day to day requests. You are welcome to contact us anytime.
How will this affect our current insurance in place?
This will not affect your current insurance. You likely start receiving policies and bills with the Brown & Brown name, but policy numbers, effective dates and coverage will remain the same. This partnership will provide us access to more carriers to be sure we have the best match for our clients.
